This website is for metal detector enthusiasts - new and old. Detecting is a fun and rewarding hobby that can bring great rewards, as well as tonnes of fresh air and fantastic views. If you love the great outdoors and don't mind getting your feet wet from time to time, get hold of a metal detector and get out there and start digging.

Metal detecting is a safe and rewarding hobby when carried out with care and some preparation. Never detect on someones property without their permission. Always observe the country code and close gates behind you. Take all your rubbish and belongings with you and fill in any holes you have dug. Always let a family member or friend know where you are going incase of emergency.
